Obituary of James Brazier

Mr. James Brazier, Jr., age 83, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his residence. A native of Upson County, Mr. Brazier had made his home in Barnesville for a number of years. He was the son of the late Mr. James Brazier, Sr. and the late Mrs. Hattie Bell Holloway Brazier, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Genevieve Lightfoot Brazier. Mr. Brazier retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church. He was also a Korean Conflict Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include: His Daughter – Maria (& Kenneth) Days of Atlanta ; 2 Sons – Dean Brazier of Alabama, and James Michael Brazier of Atlanta ; His Sister – Mrs. Annie Grace Booker of Atlanta ; 7 Grandchildren ; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & other relatives. A Memorial Service for Mr. James Brazier, Jr. will be conducted Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11 O’Clock in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Victor Galier officiating. The church is located at 928 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Interment will be Private.
