I am sorry for your loss. Death is very unnatural because we all want to live. We live in a imperfect world to where we all have to face death. Seeing our loved ones pass away is truly hurtful but God gives us comfort from His Word the Bible. Revelation 21:4 "He(God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Now that is truly a wonderful time to look forward to not having to lose our loved ones. Being able to enjoy life with our friends and family forever is something that only a loving God would provide for us. May you continue and always look to God's Word the Bible for comfort and the needed strength to endure during these difficult times.
