I can just see that sweet smile on her face. Brannon said that he could see her offering Jesus an fried apple pie. I see a woman that has left a long legacy to this world and community. She raised an awesome family of believers and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their might even be a few great-great grandchildren. I have watched this family grow over the years and flourish. Ms. Thelma was blessed by her children that showed their love by how good they were to her and how well they took care of her. Such is a labor of love. I can only hope I would be so blessed one day. Ms. Thelma did a wonderful lot with so little. Today is a celebration of a life well lived. I always enjoyed the times I had breakfast with Ms. Thelma and Dolores. I can just see that sweet smile... you could tell she was up to something. I wonder if today the feast that Jesus has laid out in heaven includes Ms. Thelma's fried apple pies. When I heard she had passed, I couldn't help but praise the Lord that she was no longer a prisoner of her body. Today she is brand new and pain free. Ms. Thelma, keep watch at the gate, we will be along a little later on.
