Obituary of Kandi Carson

Ms. Kandi Lee Taylor Carson, age 42, of Culloden, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in a Spalding County Healthcare facility. She was born to Mr. Haskel Taylor and Mrs. Lenez Taylor. Ms. Carson was a secretary and a payroll clerk for Porter Roofing in Tennessee, and had also been a secretary for Cattle King Trailer in Forsyth, and the Griffin Airport. She also was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, learned to clog, loved swimming & skating, loved to read, and was an accomplished artist. Survivors include her Daughter- Meaghan Gordy (& Dustin) of Roberta; Parents- Haskel & Lenez Taylor of Lamar Co.; 2 Grandchildren- Tanner Gordy & Addison Gordy; 1 Brother- Wesley Hugh Taylor (& Brandy) of Barnesville; 3 Nieces- Ashley, Rebecca “Becky”, & Rachel. Funeral Services for Ms. Kandi Carson will be conducted Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2 O’clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Chip Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm.
