Obituary of Kathryn McCain

Mrs. Kathryn Elizabeth Corley McCain, of Griffin, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016.Mrs. McCain was the daughter of the late Mr. John Quinlen Corley and the late Mrs. Ida Roumania Bankston Corley. Mrs. McCain was also preceded in death by a brother, Mr. John Clifford “J.C.” Corley. Mrs. McCain was a Home Maker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Griffin. Mrs. McCain is survived by her husband – Mr. Edwin T. “Pete” McCain ; 1 Daughter – Susan Kay Richardson ; Grandchildren – Ben and Cole Richardson ; Brothers – Kenneth Corley (& Levern) and Donald Corley (& Wynett) ; Sister-in-law – Leugin Corley ; Brother-in-law – Al McCain (& Anna) Several Nieces, Nephews, & other relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kathryn Corley McCain will be conducted from the Graveside on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11 O’Clock in Greenwood Cemetery with the Reverend Steven Corley officiating. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm. The family would like to sincerely thank Mrs. McCain’s caretaker, Patricia Ramsey. In lieu of flowers, the family would also like to ask that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund for the First United Methodist Church of Griffin, P.O. Box 595, Griffin, GA 30224.
