Obituary of Joe Keadle

Life Legacy Mr. Joe Maddox Keadle, age 86, of Barnesville, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Keadle was born in Monroe County to the late Mr. Homer Lee Keadle, Sr. and the late Mrs. Neva Ruth Haygood Keadle. He was also preceded in death by his first wife – Lynda Penland Keadle, a daughter – Lynda Dianne Keadle, and by 3 brothers – Steve Keadle, Haygood Keadle, & Homer L. Keadle, Jr.. Mr. Keadle was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Milner, where he had served as Chairman of the Deacons. He and his brother were co-owners of Keadle Hardware, and he served as Head of the Pallet Division at Keadle Lumber Company. He was a UGA fan through and through and supported his Dawgs every time he could. Mr. Keadle is survived by: his wife – Ann Keadle of Barnesville ; 1 daughter – Mary “Kimberly” Keadle Thomas of Carrollton, GA ; Step-Children – Randy Vining (& Carol) of Milner, & Dedra Faye McDaniel of Barnesville ; 3 Grandchildren – Jordan Kimberly Norton (& Israel) of Heflin, AL, Georgia Marshall of Milner, & Matthew Joseph Hill of Barnesville. Funeral services for Mr. Joe Maddox Keadle will be conducted on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 1 O’ clock in the Bethel Baptist Church in Milner with the Reverend Swayne Poole officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5pm until 7pm.
