Obituary of Jeannette Mitchell

Mrs. Miriam Jeannette Smith Mitchell, age 84, of Barnesville passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Barnesville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. James Oliver Smith and the late Mrs. Ora Mae Bishop Smith, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Early Eugene Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell had worked at the William Carter Company, and later Retired from Bibb Mills in Forsyth as a Quality Control Supervisor, and taught at the private school at Bibb Mills. She was longtime member of Faith Church. Mrs. Mitchell loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by: 2 Sons – Wade Richard Mitchell (& Jackie) of Bluff City Tn. and Ronald Steven Mitchell of Barnesville Ga.; 2 Brothers – Thomas Smith of South Carolina, and Donnie Smith of Danielsville Ga.; 8 Grandchildren – Scott Mitchell of Macon, Chris Mitchell of Milner, Deanna Mitchell of Yatesville, Jeff Mitchell (& Becky) of Barnesville, Alvin McDaniel of Barnesville, Hannah Mitchell of Barnesville, Dylan Mitchell of Barnesville and Daniel Mitchell of Barnesville; Numerous Great Grandchildren and 2 special friends, Margie Hodges and Sandy Wood. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeannette Mitchell will be conducted from the Graveside in the Mitchell Cemetery on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 2 O’clock.
