Obituary of Savannah Talley

Miss Savannah Elizabeth Talley, age 8, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 in an Atlanta Healthcare Facility. Savannah is the daughter of Lester William “Buddy” Talley, III and Britanie Nicole Racey Talley. She was born in Covington, but lived in Barnesville, and was a member of The Mid Georgia Gospel Assembly. She was currently in the Second Grade at Lamar County Primary School, and was anxiously looking forward to becoming a Third Grader at Lamar County Elementary School in the upcoming school year. Savannah loved animals, especially her horse, Cody. Savannah will be missed by her family and friends, many of which know that one day, they will see her again in Heaven. Savannah is survived by: Her parents – Lester W. “Buddy” & Britanie Talley of Barnesville ; 4 Sisters – Claudia Talley, Victoria Talley, Alexis Talley, & Kristin Talley ; Paternal Grandparents – Rev. Lester W. Talley, Jr. (& Brenda) of Barnesville and Elizabeth Joanne (Talley) Forbes (& Keith) of Mansfield ; and Maternal Grandparents – Roxanne Basham of Denver, CO and Mark Basham of Denver City, TX ; as well as numerous other relatives. Funeral Services for Miss Savannah Talley will be conducted Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11 O’Clock in the Rocks Springs Church at 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257 with the Reverend Lester W. Talley, Jr. and the Reverend David Emmons officiating. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 2pm until 4pm and, 6pm until 8pm ; on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 2pm until 4pm, and 6pm until 8pm ; and on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6pm until 9pm.
