Obituary of Frances Sage

Mrs. Frances Elaine Dorsey Sage, age 69, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her residence. A native of Savannah, Mrs. Sage was the daughter of the late Mr. William Frank Dorsey and the late Mrs. Mildred Herrington Dorsey, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Webster Edmond “Pepper” Sage. Mrs. Sage had a giver’s heart, as she spent her time working with the Humane Society of Griffin, as well as fostering animals, and even working the polls for elections. She attended the Midway Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her Sons – Will (& Dana) Sage of Barnesville, and Ken (& Jennifer) Sage of Meansville ; 4 Grandchildren – Logan Sage, Madalyn Sage, Garrett Sage, & Tessa Rose Sage ; a Cousin – Janice McIntosh of Atlanta ; Sisters-in-law – Sue Thames of Barnesville, Karen (& Glenn) Moseley of Stockbridge, Sandra Greene of Barnesville, & Debbie (& Tony) Benton of Conyers ; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & Other relatives. Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Elaine Dorsey Sage will be conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11 O’clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be Wednesday afternoon (1-28-15) at 1:30pm in the Crawford-Dorsey Cemetery on Jonesboro Road in Lovejoy. The family will receive friends here at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5pm until 7:30pm.
