Mr. John Watson Campbell, age 82, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

 

John was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1942, in Forsyth, Georgia, to the late William Campbell and the late Bettie Campbell, in addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife; Ruby Campbell; son, Christopher Campbell; sister, Peggy Brooks; daughter-in-law, Brenda Campbell.

 

John worked with storm clean up crews throughout the years, and he also was a Truck driver for many years. He was a hard worker, and always took care of his family. He had a love for cooking, telling stories, and would talk to anyone.

 

John is survived by his sons; Greg Campbell (Janet), Lee Campbell, Josh Campbell (Jennifer); 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Royce Campbell; sister, Caroline Green, several nieces, nephew, and extended family members.

 

Memorial Service for Mr. John Watson Campbell will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at Breedlove Memorial Chapel, friends may visit family from 6: 00 P.M til 7:00 P.M. with Rudy Mangham officiting.
