Obituary of Gail Taylor

Mrs. Margaret Gail Pennington Taylor, age 72, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Gail was born on Monday, June 24, 1951, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late John Robert Pennington and the late Lucille Allen Pennington. Gail graduated Valedictorian of her class at Gordon Military College. She worked for the Atlanta Police Department-Narcotics Squad, she was the former president of the Azalea Garden Club, and enjoyed going to St. Simons Island. Gail attended Barnesville United Medthodist Church.

Gail is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob Taylor; daughter, Jill Taylor; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie & Tim Heard; nephews and spouse, David & Sabrina Heard, Cole Heard; niece, Brianna Heard.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Gail Taylor will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Barnesville United Methodist Church, with Reverend Ann Mann officiating. Friends may visit the family at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
