Obituary of Emily Jane Dziedzic

Emily Jane Dziedzic, age 32, of Barnesville, passed away January 6, 2024.

Emily was born on Monday, December 23, 1991, in Snellville, Georgia to Thomas James Robert Dziedzic and Lisa Darlene Blalock Dziedzic. Emily loved turtles, frogs, and hummingbirds. She also loved the beach, as well as spoiling her niece and nephew. Her greatest joy was illustrating her great-grandmother’s poetry, recently published on Amazon with her mother called, “Compassion at the Cross”. She was loyal to those she loved and would do anything for them. She loved her Lyndsie, Lillie, and Kyleigh. She will be missed but will always be with us in spirit.

Emily is survived by her parents, Thomas and Lisa Dziedzic; sisters, Rachel and Sara Dziedzic; grandmother, Mary Jane Blalock; niece, Kalionna Allen; nephew, Floyd Richardson, Jr. as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service for Emily Jane Dziedzic will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at The Providence Church at Rock Springs with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home.

The family will be donating a portion of the profits from books sales of “Compassion at the Cross” to Jekyll Island Turtle Rescue in her memory.
