Obituary of Gregory Lee Blosser
Mr. Gregory Lee Blosser, age 70, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.
Gregory was born on Friday, September 4, 1953, in Follensbee, West Virginia, to the late Homer Clark Blosser and the late Doris Elora Heaton Meek. Gregory was a private pilot; he enjoyed his time flying his airplane. He was an avid entrepreneur; he invented the Ice Box Kiosk machines that are located at various spots throughout the southeast. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, but more than anything, he loved his children and his grandchildren.
Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sophie Anita Blosser; children, Michelle Leigh Blosser, Kevin Clark Blosser (Brittany); grandchildren, Adaleigh Grace Blosser, Kalum Clark Blosser; sister, Pamela Williams (Mark); sisters-in-law, Patty Nicholas, Donna Nicholas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Gregory Blosser will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at The Providence Church at Rock Springs with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the church. Interment will follow the service at Lamar Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Shriners Hospital for Children in memory of Gregory.
