Obituary of Denny Hammock

Mr. Dennis Harold “Denny” Hammock, age 64, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

Denny was born on Wednesday, July 8, 1959, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Cecil Harold Hammock and to the late Noma Leslie Dumas Hammock. Denny was proceeded in death by his wife, Teri Hammock; brother, Leslie Hammock.  He was raised in Barnesville, Georgia. Denny enjoyed watching NASCAR and collecting NASCAR memorabilia. He also enjoyed grilling, fishing and working in the food industry.

Denny is survived by his daughter, Tara Nicole Hammock; brothers and their spouses, Richard Dale Hammock (Kathy), Thomas Wayne Hammock (Susan); Nephew, Tyler Hammock; Nieces, Jessica, Hannah, and Haley.  

A Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. Denny Harold Hammock will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Lamar Memory Gardens with Reverand Ann Mann officiating.
