Obituary of Jack Robert Lofgren, Jr.

Mr. Jack Robert Lofgren, 70, of Jackson, GA passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Lofgren was born Saturday, February 23, 1952, in Peoria, Illinois, son of the late Jack Robert Lofgren Sr. and Betty Jean Lofgren. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where his daughter Heather was born, and in Arizona After leaving the Army, Jack worked for several tire companies, most recently Tires Plus. He was a very proud veteran and patriot who enjoyed working on cars, cooking, fishing, and the ocean. He liked to travel and spending time with family. Jack was a humble and considerate man who never met a stranger.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Cynthia Shields Lofgren; children Heather (Mike) Mawyer , Sam (Samantha) Bingham, and Shaun (Beverli) Bingham;  Grandchildren  Kathleen Jackson, Shawn Michalski, Chandler, Layne (Isai), Ethan (Tori), Jacob, Brayden, Jordyn, Taylor, Emma, and S.J. Bingham; Great grandchildren Ja’Vonte and Royal Jones, Khari and Kaia Jackson, Ellis and Amelia Bingham and Wrenn-Lee Martin. Cynthia’s mother, MeMa and sister Sandy (Glen) Studle and their daughters Jennie (Jody) Morgan and their children Jackson, Jenna, Joshua, and Jessi Morgan; Shanon Martin and her children Hannah, Kayla, Ryleigh, and Ansleigh.

Jack’s family will receive friends Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
