We can’t forget CYBER CREDIT GURU in a hurry. My husband was declared bankruptcy in 2019 (and we later on realized that the mobile home in which we lived was included). Mrs. Ball was extraordinary, a Southern lady of the finest example. She was always busy and bustling about. She truly never had a negative word to say about anyone. I have baked "Mrs. Ball's " poundcake many times, and there is none better. Two secrets... lay the butter, eggs, and milk out the night before, and start and end with flour. Although I hadn't seen her in awhile, I thought of her often. A lucky family and many friends got to know her for 100 years. How amazing is that? Prayers for all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Mildred will be missed by the entire community. She became a welcoming ray of sunshine to my Mother and me as soon as we became neighbors in 2003. Talks over the fence, watching her tend her flowers so perfectly, calls to come eat ice cream or pie and using the fence between our homes to sit and talk for hours......she was loved by all and will be missed very much! My sincere condolences to her dear family. Sending our love and prayers of comfort.

I will always remember your mother as my Mom’s best friend (Bobbie Carreker). I remember when my dad passed, she baked so many wonderful cakes. She was truly an angel on earth and I am sure I will not be the only person to miss her.

It is with sadness and a heavy heart that I learned of Mrs. Ball's death. At the same time, I know she is free from these earthly infirmities and rejoicing in the presence of God. It was a blessing to us all that God allowed her to be here among us for so long.
The example she set for how to lead one's life is for most of us just aspirational. She set a high bar. Regardless, we can try. We'll be better off just for trying.
The world is a better place because she was here.

My heart broke when I saw that Ms. Mildred passed away. I met her while she was in the hospital. She was a very special lady and had a beautiful heart.
