Obituary of Carol Juanita Walters
Mrs. Carol Juanita “Nana” Walters, 80, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Mrs. Walters was born on Friday, December 20, 1940 in Grayson, Georgia to the late Plennie and Myrtle Thomas. Mrs. Walters was the proud mother of five children. She is proceeded in death by her sister Faye Cook; son Andy Walters and husband Alvin Walters.
Carol is survived by sisters; Linda Collins and brother-in-law Bill Collins, Emily White and brother-in-law Jimmy White, Betty-Jean Botts and the late Jerry Botts; children; Lynette Walters, Nancy Robin Sullivan and son-in-law John Sullivan, Tammy Newmon and son-in-law Buster Newmon and Holly Barnett, grandchildren; Darrell Walters, Joshua and wife Ellen Newmon, Joseph and wife Averie Newmon, Dallas Sullivan and wife Lacie Sullivan, John Colt Sullivan and wife Autumn Sullivan, Melanie Barnett and fiancé Andy McClure, Shayna Ivester and husband Kevin Ivester, Tanner Barnett, Jordan Barnett; great-grandchildren, Blakeleigh Newmon, Tatum Newman, Cooper Newmon, Holden Newmon, Mylee Kate Massey, Olivia Gaines, Kennedy Ivester and Sutton Ivester; as well as several nieces and nephews.
