I met Karen on the Last run of the Nancy Hanks train, She was with a group of students that she taught at Gordon. My sister Kathy was one of students. I was in the 8th grade in Lamar County. I remember her laughing the whole trip! The next year I was glad to see her teaching at the High School and I made sure to take her class. I will never forget her laugh!
