Barbara was my friend beginning in the 9th grade at Russell High School in East Point. She and I, along with another school hood friend, married friends (well actually Dot and Barbara married brothers, but all were friends). The three of us remained friends since that day, through thick and thin. Our children were raised together. She was dearly loved and her passing will leave a void in so many lives.
