My condolences to the family and all who loved Jean. The seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. But we can have confidence that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. (Job 14:14,15) His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

She will be missed. She was a good teacher . I had her for a teacher in the 6th grade. She taught me social studies. She always made it very entertaining and wanting us to learn more. She knew a lot also about history. She was one of my favorite teachers.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. My condolences to her family.

I adored Mrs. Kennedy when I had her at Milner Middle School! I believe I had her in the 6th grade and for Social Srudies, but I’m not 100% sure on that. I loved her smile and her laugh, and she made everything seem so easy and better! I’m so sorry for your loss, but her love of education and learning passed down through a lot of the chirldren she taught over the years—myself included! She will be greatly missed!

Sue and Gay, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mother was the sweetest. She was truly a Southern Lady with all the class and beauty. I’m sorry I didn’t know until Monday evening and I didn’t make it to the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs.Kennedy was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She always greeted us with a warm smile, calling our names and sincerely wanting to know how we were. We always admired her as she continued to keep going and doing in spite of her pain. She touched so many lives in such special ways . She will be so missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Lynda and Mike Brutz

I’ll always remember the good times we had in Girl Scouts and playing at y’all’s house. “Miss” Jean was one of the ladies I enjoyed being with. She and Mama enjoyed their visits and I loved hearing them laugh. She’s one of my very memorable people and I’ll always remember her with love. May God hold each of you especially close now and in the coming days.
