Ms. Mattie was a precious and special person in my life. I have many sweet memories of spending Sunday evenings in the nursery at FBC Barnesville, visiting Ms. Mattie and Ms. Tootsie, rocking little babies, hearing funny stories, and laughing till I cried. Ms. Mattie would take me fishing on Saturdays, with her snatch pole and her big floppy hat. I loved her dearly, and I can just picture her up in heaven, rocking those babies and making folks laugh. David and Tammy, I'm so sorry I did not know of Ms. Mattie's passing. I would have come to her funeral to see you and tell you how much she always meant to me.

My Aunt was called Big Aunt T. She loved her family dearly. When we were children She would keep all her neices and nephews for the summer. When she cook for us. She had the largest pots I ever seen.
