Obituary of Melissa Harper

Ms. Melissa Harper, age 48, of Barnesville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at her home. Ms. Harper was born January 9, 1967 in Upson County, daughter of John Tildon Sr. and Waunda Harper. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston and a former member of Ramah Primative Baptist Church in Barnesville. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Taylor Selsor of Point Magu, California; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Garrett Sizemore of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew Selsor, Marley Selsor, Kaydence Sizemore and Garrison Sizemore; brother John Harper, Jr. of Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick McCoy and Rev. Kurt Bacon officiating. Interment will follow in the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church before the service from 9:00 until 11:00.
