Obituary of Louie Woodall

Mr. Louie (L.M.) Woodall Jr., age 83, of Flovilla, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. Mr. Woodall was born May 4, 1934 in Eatonton, son of the late Louie Matthew Woodall Sr. and Lucille Drake Woodall. He retired from Marta Transit Authority in Atlanta. Mr. Woodall served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1961, and he was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, JoAnne Scarborough Gilbert Woodall of Flovilla; sons, Ricky Woodall and Thomas Woodall (Leanna) all of CA; daughter, Tracey Threatt of Jackson; stepdaughters, Diane Fincher and Missy Gilbert both of Flovilla; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Woodall and Danny McBroom (Nancy) of Monticello, Tim McBroom (Becky) and Terrell McBroom (Diana) all of Barnesville; three nieces and four nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fogarty, brother-in-law, Robert Fogarty, nephew, Carey Fogarty, and stepson, James C. (Jimmy) Gilbert. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Dr. Neal Wall officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 before the service. Services are being arranged and directed by Breedlove Memorial Chapel, Barnesville, GA.
