Obituary of Tony Clark
Tony Lamar Clark, age 72, of Barnesville, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 in a Thomaston Healthcare Facility. A native of Pike County, he was the son of the late Mr. Thomas Lee Clark and the late Mrs. Nola Lee Gordy Clark, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Clark and Charles Clark. Mr. Clark Retired as a Welder and Machinist. He had worked for several local mills, including his longest position with Dundee Mills #5. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness faith, and always enjoyed going fishing, or dancing at the VFW.
Survivors include: His spouse - Betty Jean Rainwater Clark of Barnesville ; 3 Children - Amy (& Nicholas) Kendrick of Thomaston, Kevin (& Cindy) Clark of Thomaston, & Scott (& Patti) Clark of Barnesville ; 6 Grandchildren - Dillon Clark, Brittany Clark, Jared Clark, Gage Clark, Trevaun Collins, & Markese Collins ; 2 Great Grandchildren - Kaethen Bowers & Anisen Clark ; 4 Sisters - Pinkie Bussey of Barnesville, Joann Sams of Jasper County, Ellen Wadsworth of Warner Robins, & Carol Garrett of Warner Robins ; 1 Brother - Michael Clark of Florida, & Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Tony Lamar Clark will be conducted Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 4pm until 6pm.
