Obituary of Maedell Pritchett
Mrs. Jimmie “Maedell” Denham Pritchett, age 89, of High Falls passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. A native of Spalding County, Mrs. Pritchett was the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Benjamin Denham and the late Mrs. Nellie Mae Moore Denham, and was the wife of the late Mr. Milton Leon Pritchett. Mrs. Pritchett was a former owner of the Dairy Queen for a number of years. She had also worked with Aldora Mills in the Spinning Room, and had also worked in the Deli at Ingles. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters - Paula (& Tom) Cavender of High Falls, & Paulette Jackson of Watauga, TX ; 1 Sister - Mariel McDaniel of Kentucky ; 5 Grandchildren - Kim Ellington of Barnesville, Danny Brown of Barnesville, Pat (& Mitzi) Brown of Barnesville, Johnna (& Tracy) Gray of Venus, TX, and Angela (& David) Morin of Arlington, TX.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Maedell Pritchett will be conducted Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 O’Clock in the New Life Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday evening (1-11-2013) from 6pm until 8pm.
