Linda I look at what your mom and dad did for the community as a "Ministry"......They were instrumental in pointing the youth of Lamar County and neighboring counties, in a positive direction that changed many lives.......They definitely helped make major changes in my life......They gave me and many others an opportunity to use our talents in music.....The Rec was my beginning place for playing music......I will always be grateful for Buck and Eloise Dorsey.....They will forever be remembered by me and everyone!!!!!!GOD bless you Linda and James, Susan and Butch and families!!!!!!

I first met Eloise when a bunch of fellows met at their home to begin Troop 17. For the next 60 plus years she was "Mama Number 2" to me, my 3 brothers and hundreds more members of Troop and then Post 17. To Linda, Butch and Susan-- Thank You for sharing your Mom with us as we were guided my her and Buck from know it all teens to adulthood where, because of them we maybe made our country a tad better. God Bless all of you.

Love to the family. She and Buck were always a part of my childhood, especially as a teen at the "rec" center. Very fond memories.
