Obituary of Helene Zeager

Mrs. Helene Louise (nee Gavron) Zeager, age 90, passed away October 1, 2012 at Brightmoor Nursing Center in Griffin, Georgia. Helene was raised in Ohio and was a graduate of Lorain High School, Lorain, Ohio. She was married May 7,1949 to Charles A. Zeager and for many years they resided in Fairview Park, Ohio raising their family. Helene was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Fairview Park. In 1976, they retired to Clearwater, Florida. She was an avid golfer who loved to read,cook, travel, and entertain. She was predeceased by her husband Charles of Clearwater; her two brothers Charles Gavron of Bay Village, Ohio and Frank Gavron of Lorain, Ohio; two sisters Agnes Gavron of Lorain, Ohio and Marcella Brichford of Lakewood, Ohio. Helene is survived by her son Bruce Zeager and his spouse Bonnie of Barnesville, Georgia and her daughter Jill Hyman and her spouse John of Flemington, New Jersey; grandsons B.J. Zeager and spouse Jennifer of Barnesville, Matthew and Benjamin Hyman of Flemington; and granddaughter Angel Van Der Gracht and spouse Sean of Dunedin, Florida. A memorial service for Mrs. Helene Zeager will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter The Rock Catholic Church, 3594 Barnesville Hwy., Thomaston, Georgia 30286.
