Lamar - I am so saddened to hear of my friend's passing. My best memories of Beth are the year that I met her, serving coffee and spinach salad -- I'm glad of the short time we worked together the following year, and more glad of the friendship I shared with both of you. She leaves memories of sunshine and bravery, and will be sorely missed.

Lamar, Douglas & Robert,
I miss Beth so much.
She shone so bright with kindness, intelligence, goodness, and just plain fun. In the time I knew her, she didn't get a chance to use all her talents in the world at large, but she sure filled your lives with a love like no other.
I will always remember her hanging out by your pool last summer. Her blue eyes sparkled and her big smile was so happy.
You may not know it, but she had become the social center of our water aerobics class. She just naturally drew others to her. I'll think about her dancing through the waist deep water every time I'm back in hte pool.
I know that Douglas and Robert will carry her spirit as they go out into the world, and that the world will be a much nicer place for it.

She loved you all so much. It's a love that will transcend all.
