Obituary of Christine Ruffin

Mrs. Christine Jones Ruffin, age 81, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2012 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A native of Donaldsonville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Newton Jones and the late Mrs. Lucille Jordan Jones. Mrs. Ruffin Retired as a Teacher and Media Specialist from the Lamar County School System. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Survivors include: 3 Sons - Calvin Christon Ruffin (& Peggy) of High Falls, Phillip Sterlin Ruffin (& Stephanie) of Barnesville, and Donald Jones Ruffin of Long Beach, CA ; 3 Grandchildren - Stephen Ruffin, Ashley Woods, & Brad Drawdy ; & 8 Great Grandchildren - Jasmine, Phillip, Grason, Ashton, Avery, Bella, Morgan, & Abigail. Funeral Services for Mrs. Christine Ruffin will be conducted Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10 O’Clock in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville with the Reverend Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday evening, August 2, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm.
