Obituary of Helen Oliver

Mrs. Helen Marie Akins Oliver, age 90, of Milner passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. A native of Lamar County, Mrs. Oliver was the daughter of the late Mr. John Barron Akins and the late Mrs. Lola Roberta Martin Akins, and was also preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Smith, and by 7 siblings. Mrs. Oliver was a Retired Sewing Machine Operator with The Black Manufacturing Company of Seattle, Washington. Survivors include: Extended Family - Mr. & Mrs. Billy Ramsey of Barnesville. Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Oliver will be conducted from the Graveside on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11 O’Clock in the Milner Baptist Cemetery with the Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating.
