Obituary of Regina Howard

Mrs. Regina T. Howard, age 75, of Milner passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Howard was a native of Cobb County, but had made her home in Lamar County for most of her life. Daughter of the late Mr. Marcus Nelson Turner, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ollie Pruitt Turner, she was preceded in death by a Sister, Mrs. Ruby Turner. Mrs. Howard was a Home Maker and a member of the Midway Baptist Church, where she also served as the Church Treasurer. Survivors include: Her Husband - Mr. Grady Howard of Milner ; Her Son - Stanley (Robyn) Howard of Milner ; 1 Brother - Marcus Nelson (Elnora) Turner, Jr. of Mableton ; 5 Sisters - Mildred Westbrook of Woodstock ; Wilma (Clinton) Boling of Canton ; Marie (Don) Bishop of Cave Springs ; Carolyn (Reggie) Glaze of Calhoun ; & Jan (Ted) Holley of Smyrna ; 1 Grandchild - Carrie Ann Howard of Milner ; & Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Regina T. Howard will be conducted Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 2 O’Clock in the Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Burk officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening (1-12) from 6pm until 8pm.
