I knew Val when she worked with me at Spencer Gifts. Neither of us were Christians at that time. I was filled with joy to read that Val became a Christian! I too eventually became a Christian. I also was so happy to hear that she had become a loving mother. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven. Praise God from whom all blessings come!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Valerie and grieved to realize that I did not know until know. Valerie and I were friends as little girls. I grew up next door to her in Decatur. She was either at my house or I was at Liz and Vern's with Val and Leah. She was with me when my father died. We stayed in touch as much as possible when they moved to Barnesville, but adult lives took over when we became moms. I loved her and feel so bad that we lost touch. I guess we always think there will be another day.
