Obituary of Doris Davis

Mrs. Doris Imogene Brown Davis, age 86, of Barnesville passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A native of Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Lee Brown and the late Mrs. Eula Ann Elizabeth Young Brown, and was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. Waimon Allen Davis. Mrs. Davis was a Home Maker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her Son - Kenneth Waimon Davis of Barnesville ; Caregiver & Niece - Wilma Brown of Griffin ; Other Nieces and Nephews - Wayne Brown of Woodbury ; Anthony Brown of Woodbury ; LaVonne Worsham of Birmingham, AL ; Mary Anne Spence of Manchester ; Leon Brown of Coleman ; Wilbur Brown of Woodbury ; Cathie Ousley of Woodbury ; Tony Brown of Winter Haven, FL ; Jan English of Griffin ; Lynette Lanier of Douglasville ; & Robert Crisp of Georgia. Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Davis will be conducted Friday, June 10, 2011 at 4 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Spencer Selph officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Concord, GA. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 7pm until 9pm.
