Obituary of Roger Tenney

Mr. Roger Tenney, Age 75 of Barnesville passed away on Sunday March 6, 2011 at a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. He was born to the late Mr. George Tenney and to the late Mrs. Ruby Gill Tenney. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons Mr. Joel Allen Tenney and Mr. Darrel Roger Tenney. He was a production worker for James Rivers INC. He was a Braves Baseball fan and enjoyed rabbit hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include: Wife- Claire Tenney of Barnesville; 2 Sons- David Stallings of Milner, GA- Kevin Tenney of Franklin, GA; 5 Daughters- Susan Tenney Minix (&Winford) of Senoia, GA- Carol Tenney of Franklin, GA- Leslie Morris of Franklin, GA- Linda White (&Lewis) of Milner, GA- Debra Matthews (&Randy) of Barnesville, GA; 4 Brothers; 2 Sisters; 15 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Roger Tenney will be conducted on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at 3pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev Jay Tenney Officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. Those who wish may visit the family at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday Evening March 8, 2011 from 5pm until 7pm.
