Obituary of Willie Pharr

Mrs. Willie Ailene Coleman Pharr, age 99, of Barnesville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Heritage Inn of Barnesville. Mrs. Pharr was born in Sycamore, Georgia on Sunday, September 15, 1918 to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Perkins Pharr. She adored her husband, loved her children and grandchildren, who called her “Mama”. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Pineview Baptist Church and loved her church family. Mrs. Pharr is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Gary Calloway of Hoschton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Linda Pharr of West Palm Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette Cauthen of Columbus, GA and Earline Smith of Green Valley, AZ; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Willie Pharr will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. The Reverend Franklin Gibson will officiate.
