Obituary of Billy Giles

Billy Joe Giles of Barnesville, Georgia born June 13, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away August 11, 2017. Bill entered the U. S. Navy in 1947 and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1970. He went on to have a career as a sheet metal worker for RF Knox until 1992. Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy G. Giles, and their three sons Clifford Joe Giles, Sr. and wife Wilene Giles of Barnesville; Charles James Giles (deceased) of Barnesville, and Mark E. Giles and wife Linda Giles of Hampton, Georgia, Grandchildren Charles K. Giles, Clifford Joe Giles, Jr., Joshua Mark Giles, Brittany Michelle Williams, Sarah Elizabeth Giles, Ruben Seth Giles and many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service at Williams Funeral Home on September 23, 2017 from 2-4 pm in Barnesville, Georgia.
