Obituary of Elizabeth Spears

Mrs. Elizabeth “Mat” Bunn Jones Spears, age 80, of Barnesville passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Spears was a lifelong resident of Lamar County. Daughter of the late Mr. James Franklin Bunn and the late Mrs. Lucy Myrtice Thomas, she was also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Bobby Gene Spears. Survivors Include - 2 Daughters - Gala Ginn (& Cal) of Barnesville & Sherri Brumbalow of Douglasville ; 3 Sons - Donnie Jones of Barnesville ; Wayne (& Janet) Jones of Barnesville ; & Kelley Dwayne Martin of Milner ; 1 Sister – Myrtice Peavy of Manchester ; 4 Grandchildren - Abbegale Ginn of Barnesville ; Daniel Jones (& Kayla) of Williamson ; & David Jones (& Ashley) of Griffin ;& Robert Heddelson of Warner Robins & 1 Great Grandchild - Tristen Jones of Williamson. Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth “Mat” Bunn Jones Spears will be conducted on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Phillip Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, April 20, 2010 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
