Obituary of Robert Barnett

Mr. Robert Wayne Barnett, age 67, of Barnesville passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, in a Macon Health Care facility. Mr. Barnett was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and had made his home in Barnesville for a number of years. Mr. Barnett was a Driver for J.B. Hunt for 20 years, and had Retired from the United States Marine Corps, having served three tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Mr. Barnett was the son of the late Mr. Huey Edwards Barnett and the late Mrs. Voncille Hooks Barnett. Survivors include: His wife – Mrs. Mona Barnett of Barnesville ; 2 Sons – Larry Barnett and Sammy Barnett, both of Booneville, MS ; 1 Daughter – Vivian Barnett of Booneville, MS ; 3 Sisters – Kay Randall, Ray Ann Barnett, & Kathy Barnett, all of Houston, TX ; 2 Brothers – Bill Barnett of Birmingham, AL & Charles Barnett of Houston, TX ; & Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & other relatives also survive.
